ACT Medical Group Focuses on North Carolina

In our 9.5 years of Healthcare practice within NC, ACT's reputation for being a Quality healthcare provider has grown and provided for opportunities to enter new states through corporate customer-partner requests in Virginia, Tenessee, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.  Though the idea of serving and advertising multi-state coverage is enticing, ACT remains at home for the time being, and many ask why.

Since 1996, ACT has embraced the mission of Reaching People in Need.  Our job is not done in North Carolina.  Though we continue to grow at a rate of 30% per year, there are people within the very facilities we serve that are overlooked.

ACT's focus in 2006 will be Improved Partnership with our Customers in order to ensure timely and appropriate Team care.  Our clinicians are being asked to reach out and determine All key contacts at their contracted sites, not just their assigned main contacts, as we feel there is much information lost through relying on one or two contact personnel versus true integration and partnership.  Our clinicians are attending Interdisciplinary meetings to discuss client care and they are providing educational meetings for our customers so that they better understand what we can do and what they can do to support the effort.  ACT is stepping up our Support Staff communication with our customers to ensure that our packaging of care creates seamless accessibility to care.  We are enrolling in additional Insurance panels so that managed care is less of a barrier to care.  

We look forward to hearing from our North Carolina customers on how we can better serve them with our Medical Directorships, Primary Care Services, Psychiatric Services and Psychotherapy services.  Happy New Year.
