By serving individuals in their familiar setting, ACT clinicians are able to fully assess presenting problems and to incorporate active caregivers into plans for improving quality of life.  Our preventative care, care oversight, medication management and various forms of therapy are all conducted with the mission of providing the most effective and least intrusive care available to the individual served.  Our ongoing education offered to the community supports these values.

There are numerous benefits specific to serving both children and adults under ACT's model of direct mental health care.

ACT serves as Primary Care Provider within facilities that feel individuals would benefit from a house doctor.  For nursing facilities, we coordinate care with their chosen Medical Director.  In limited areas, we offer Medical Directorships to facilities in need.
